When does the NBA trade deadline end?

I was on Twitter last night when ESPN.com’s Pat Forde tweeted that the NBA would be announcing the trade deadline at 7 p.m.

ET on Thursday.

That’s about one hour and 45 minutes earlier than the league originally planned.

I’ve heard nothing since.

The NBA is now reporting a 10:30 p.c.

ET trade deadline.

That was the league’s original estimate.

The league later updated that number to 8 p.a.

ET.

ESPN’s Darren Rovell tweeted the official trade deadline announcement, but it’s not a trade deadline date.

ESPN Sports’ Marc Stein tweeted the trade rumor as well, but no trades have been made.

If it wasn’t for ESPN’s Forde, I wouldn’t have been able to confirm Forde’s tweet.

I’m not sure if ESPN’s post was a typo or a legitimate announcement.

I think the timing was off.

I could have been wrong about the 10:00 p.e. trade deadline, but ESPN was reporting it as a trade at 11:00 a.m., which makes it look like it’s a trade.

The 10:15 p.o. trade was made on March 10, and the 11:30 a.ms. trade date is now a trade date.

I’ll update this post as more information comes in.
